I said the offer of drink, Meant to say if you was a non drinker and some one offer you a drink, would you be upset? An Alcoholic might try to push one on you, as a over zealous religious person ,might try to push a prayer, but the average person would not, either way. In his case if the doctor that could save his life was an Atheist he would rather choose to suffer. More fool anyone who refuses to be seen by a fully qualified doctor on the basis of their religion, race, sex, colour, choice of aftershave etc. I don't go around offering pro atheist views to people at random so why should a religious person. I would consider it rude and it is. If someone is a Christian they may be comforted by someone offering a prayer but not always. Many turn against their god when put through horrific situations, others seek comfort in them. It's each to their own and that should be respected. If you are in a bar and an alcholic offers you a drink you can't really be offended as you are in a bar any more than you can be offended by being offered words of a faith when you are in their place of worship. If you are walking down the street neither are appropriate. You wont grasp this and are blinded by your religion. I hate bloody do-gooders. They can't ever see that they are in the wrong or that they behave in an offensive way.

Why are atheist so hostile againts religion. They seem to go out of the way to attack it. especially Christians. I've never tried to push my religion on others but will defend it when need arises, while atheist seem to post attacks every chance they get. Even to posting threads attacking it.
