I went to a party last night... it was a friends sons 5th birthday and in the evening she had invited us adults round to finish off party food and have a BBQ. Myself and my 2 best friends went... i should point out at this juncture, my 2 best friends are indian and jamaican respectivly. the friend host the party is also indian. we get to the party and (as usual) the remaining kids want me to play with them... how i fell in to this fun auntie role i will never know... anyway, cue four hours of me running around playing ben 10 with a group of over sugared 5 year olds, and going up and down a very large (and admittedly rather fun) bouncy castle slide.

During this time my indian best friend is hiding in the kitchen cooking and making tea as there is some silly indian caste rubbish going on in her head and my jamaican friend is also in and out of the kitchen chatting with the other adults.

by 11pm, i am somewhat exhuasted having been an alien, a pink power girl and ben 10's sidekick kevin in the last hour, so i sat down on the stiars for a 5 minute break. i will admit, i was resting my head on my arms.

2 minutes later, indian best friend appears and starts having a go at me saying sitting there to rest was unacceptable and (with face like thunder) i need to go in the kitchen and talk to her bout this... to which i reply do not talk to me like a child, i can rest here for 5 minutes i have been running about with kids for 4 hours, we do not need to talk about this. she storms off. comes back another 2 minutes to repeat herself, i repeat myself only this time firmer and tell her to fuck off... while i have been running about, she has been hiding in the kitchen and popping in and out of the toilet to shove coke up her nose... i have had about 6 small glasses of wine and a kebab from the bbq.... who's behaviour is more unacceptable? mine for takking a 5 minute rest or her drug taking at a kids party???

i've just completely had enough of the sanctimonius holier than thou attitude she gets when we're out as she is just as bad, if not worse on some occasions as me, and she speas to me like i'm a child. i've had enough. will be turning my phone off this week and taking a break from her.... oh and i should just add... my other best friend agreed with indian best friend.. it was unacceptable for me to rest on the stairs for 5 minutes... forgetting her frequent trips to the toilet to powder her nose... ended up leaving the house getting a bus home on my own in the rain at 11:30... which was preferrable to getting in it with those two when they're high.
